Today was the day our neighbour decided to call in Today was the day our neighbour decided to call in the aerial top dressing contractor to add fertiliser to his hilly paddocks. This is a fairly regular occurrence in our neck of the woods, and is often quite the spectacle as the planes dodge in and out of the hills, do steep climbing turns, and land and take-off from hillside runways. All part of the rich pageant of rural life in New Zealand - unless the pilot decides to use your house as a waypoint and spends a couple of hours turning right over the top of you. Noisy, it was...
